Recruitment for the post of Upper Division Clerk & Multitasking staff
ONLINE APPLICATIONS (Through website of ESIC, R.O., Baddi at www.esichp.in) are invited
for filling up 45 vacancies of Upper Division Clerk (Group “C”) & 12 vacancies of Multitasking Staff
(M.T.S.) (Group-C) in the pay structure PB-1 Rs.5200-20200+Grade Pay Rs.2400 and PB-1 Rs.5200-
20200+Grade Pay Rs.1800 respectively plus D.A., H.R.A. and Transport Allowance as per rules in force
from time to time applicable to the employees of the E.S.I. Corporation. The break-up of the vacancies is as
under:-
For physically handicapped persons, ex-servicemen horizontal reservation is available as per Govt. of India
instructions on the subject.
NOTE:
(a) Candidates belonging to reserved categories are free to apply against vacancies earmarked for
Unreserved/General category.
(b) The recruitment will be for the State of Himachal Pradesh only. Candidates have to appear for examination
from
a centre as may be decide by Regional Director, ESIC, Regional Office Baddi. If selected for appointment
the candidates shall be liable to be posted anywhere in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
(c) The number of vacancies is provisional and may vary at the time of final selection. The Corporation reserves
the right to fill up vacancies
as per its actual requirement.
(d) Applications received for posts which are not advertised at all will not be entertained.
01. Age Limit:-
(a) For Upper Division Clerks : Between 18 to 27 Years of age as on last date of submission of online
application i.e 31.1.2012 (Candidates born between 1.2.1985 and 1.2.1994 both dates inclusive, can only
apply (Relaxable for employees of the ESI Corporation and Government Servants up to 40 years in
accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Govt.) Upper age limit is also relaxable to
SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen & Other categories of persons as per rules /instructions of Govt of India.
(b) For Multi Tasking Staff : Between 18 to 25 years of age as on last date of submission of online
application i.e. 31.1.2012 (Candidates born between 1.2.1987 and 1.2.1994 both dates inclusive, can only
apply. Upper age limit is also relaxable to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen & Other categories of persons
as per rules /instructions of Govt of India.
Age relaxation in upper age limit is permissible as per details below:-
